New luxury apartments and retail space could be built on part of Ropewalks Square in Liverpool city centre.
A four-storey building has been proposed for the site next to Bold Street’s Love Thy Neighbour café, which was previously home to a fruit and vegetable market.
The square, which sits outside FACT and restaurant Lucha Libre, links Bold Street to Wood Street and is the subject of a newly submitted planning application.
An applicant named as Glennonston Properties Ltd is behind the plans which would see three, three-bedroom homes and a ground floor retail unit created.
